This Personal Information Collection Statement (PICS) is provided by the developer of Card Manager (the Developer, we, us, or our) under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) (PDPO).
It applies when we collect personal data directly from you in connection with Card Manager (the App), including testing participation, feedback, support, privacy requests, and our legal information website.
1. Information collected#
Depending on your interaction with us, we may collect:
- your name, contact details, and testing invitation or participation information;
- app, build, device, operating-system, session, crash, diagnostic, and feedback information made available through a testing platform;
- messages, attachments, technical information, and records of communications that you submit; and
- ordinary request, device, and security information processed when you access our legal information website.
Information entered into the App is ordinarily stored only on your device and is not collected by us unless you deliberately include it in feedback, a support request, or another communication. Do not submit payment-card details, credentials, identity documents, or other information that is unnecessary for your request.
2. Whether provision is obligatory or voluntary#
Provision of personal data is generally voluntary. However, valid contact information is necessary for invitation-based testing, and sufficient identity, contact, and factual information may be necessary for us to administer participation, answer an enquiry, investigate a reported issue, or process a data access or correction request. A testing platform may also require certain participation and technical information as a condition of its service.
If you do not provide necessary information, we may be unable to invite or retain you as a tester, respond fully, investigate an issue, or process the relevant request. Optional feedback, attachments, and support details may be withheld.
3. Purposes of collection and use#
Personal data may be used to:
- administer testing invitations and participation;
- communicate about availability, material changes, security, and support;
- respond to enquiries and data access or correction requests;
- investigate faults, crashes, security concerns, misuse, and service performance;
- operate, protect, maintain, and improve the App and related documentation;
- maintain appropriate operational, security, dispute, and legal records; and
- comply with applicable law or establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.
4. Classes of possible transferees#
For those purposes, relevant personal data may be transferred in or outside Hong Kong to:
- platform and distribution providers involved in making the App or a testing programme available;
- hosting, infrastructure, communications, technical-support, and security providers involved in the relevant collection channel or service;
- professional advisers and persons assisting with a support, diagnostic, security, technical, or legal matter under duties or confidentiality arrangements;
- a person who lawfully succeeds to responsibility for the App and continues to use the data for compatible purposes; and
- courts, regulators, law-enforcement bodies, public authorities, or other persons where transfer is required or permitted by law.
5. Direct marketing#
We do not use or provide personal data for direct marketing. Before any future direct-marketing use, we will provide the information and obtain the consent required by the PDPO. Any such consent may be withdrawn without charge.
6. Access and correction#
Subject to the PDPO, you may request access to personal data we hold about you, correction of inaccurate data, and information about our personal-data policies and the kinds of data we hold.
Requests should be sent to the Developer at cardmanager@fishneko.com.
We may verify your identity and charge a reasonable fee for a data access request where permitted by law. We will respond within the period required by the PDPO, ordinarily no later than 40 calendar days after receiving a valid request, subject to lawful exceptions.
7. Further information#
Our Privacy Policy explains local App data, service providers, overseas processing, retention, security, and available choices. Nothing in this PICS limits your rights under the PDPO.
